To the Mandarin Chinese Speaking
We are immigration lawyers who have the ability to assist our Mandarin Chinese speaking clients in all areas of business immigration and family immigration fields including Business and Work Visas, Green Cards, National Interest Waivers, Corporate Transfers, Company and Human Resource Assistance, Labor Certification, Family and Marriage Immigration, Deportation Defense, as well as many other areas of U.S. immigration law.
Our Chinese speaking immigration attorney, Benjamin S. Lee, is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has lived in Taipei, Taiwan for several years. Mr. Lee is a graduate of the American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. where he was a founding member of his law school’s Business Law Review. During law school, he was active with the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and was a senior editor at the Business Law Brief.
Mr. Lee’s interest in the international community led him to participate in the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic where he counseled immigrant tenants in Washington D.C. regarding their rights, and advocated on their behalf against the city council from adopting development plans against the tenants’ interests. Prior to law school, he volunteered with Save the Shimokitazawa, a grass roots effort in Tokyo, Japan focused on preserving a quaint neighborhood from over-development.
In addition, Mr. Lee is experienced in corporate and business transactions. In law school, as a student attorney, he advised community businesses on corporate structuring and partnership agreements; and while clerking for various law firms, he has worked on issues pertaining to antitrust law, securities regulations, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Prior to law school, he founded an investment club and managed it for four years. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Mr. Lee is a member of the State Bar of California. He is also a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and is active in various lawyers associations. Because immigration law if federal, he can help anyone in Michigan, throughout the United States and abroad with U.S. immigration matters.
In addition to Mr. Lee, all our Attorneys have substantial experience in United States immigration law. Our immigration law firm has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is the highest possible rating to be given to a law firm for both competency and adherence to ethical standards. The firm’s principal, N. Peter Antone, is an Adjunct Professor of Immigration and Nationality Law at Michigan State University School of Law and has been selected as top lawyer by DBusiness magazine, based on a peer-review survey open to vote of all area lawyers.
Our main office is located in Farmington Hills in Oakland County, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. However, since U.S. immigration is federal, we can assist in individuals, families, small businesses, and multinational corporations in any of the fifty states and anywhere around the world.
Our website provides general information abut U.S. immigration law, but that does not constitute legal advice. For specific cases, please contact Mr. Benjamin Sugawara Lee, email at law@antone.com, or by phone at (248) 406-4100, nationwide at (877) 406-6020.
